December 22, 2020

2020 has been challenging for all and definitely for those far away from home.

What if you wanted to explore Belgium?

Of course that’s not as easy now, but thankfully Belgium has a lot to offer, even with most restaurants, musea, theaters etc. closed.

1.Spend a day at the Belgian coast

Belgians coastline is 65 km long with nice promenades to take a walk and beautiful, sandy beaches.  Just beware that it can get quite windy at any time of the year! Popular destinations are Knokke, Oostende, De Haan and Koksijde.

2.Take a nice walk in one of the forests of the Belgian Ardennes

Whether in Spa, Dinant, Coo or Malmedy, the magnificent forests and nature of the Belgian Ardennes are always worth a visit for those who love nature, hiking or simply getting away from the busy city life.

3.Explore the architecture of the beautiful Belgian cities

Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Leuven…there’s not much more to add. Each city has its own unique charm and will definitely capture the hearts of any lover of good history and architecture.

The rules about the Covid situation are constantly updated. Here’s the link to the official Belgian website with updated rules and regulations in several languages:

4.Take a little bike tour

Some of us prefer to stay active and explore their surroundings by bike, if you don’t have your own bike, you can definitely make use of the ‘mobit’ app or if in Antwerp, rent one of the Antwerp bikes.

5.Stay home and enjoy a quiet evening in

It’s not always easy to get out, and some people prefer staying home, Perfect Flat makes sure to provide all comforts in our furnished and equipped apartments, so that your evening in becomes more pleasant.
